The North Selangor Peat Swamp Forest (NSPSF) covers an area of about 70,000 ha and comprises of the Raja Musa Forest Reserve and the Sg Karang Forest Reserve and is one of the largest contiguous areas of peat swamp forest in Peninsular Malaysia. The Raja Musa Peat Forest Rehabilitation Programme will among others focus on several aspects such as capacity building, awareness raising and demonstrating community based reforestation exercise to rapidly create forest cover in the degraded peat forest reserve and bring back its biodiversity.
