In fact, I may recommend you to roughly calculate the estimated amount that you will spend (hint: use handphone) so that you know if you need to immediately challenge the cashier in case they miscompute.
I do go for such mad sales and I usually did a head calculation, so I know I wouldn’t be a victim of miscompute, or overcharge by accident.
Secondly, you know the number of items you are getting. So, count them quick before leaving cashier. At the same time, you would already knew how much to pay, hence no time will be put to waste.
Thirdly, go to such sale without bringing too many items like backpacks and things that will burden or confuse you. Your two hands are to carry the sale stuff.
NO EVIDENCE!!!
I went to this warehouse sale yesterday. I felt very disgusted as I was cheated almost rm1k.
The tragedy begin like this,
1. I have to queue almost 2 hours just to pay all the items as there are only 3 counters open for payment purposes.
2. It is my practice to monitor the price display on the cashier machine. Yeap, I was busy monitoring the price as I experience price cheating before.( I dont accept their excuse on false data entry, its their job to ensure no discrepensies)
3.At the same time, the cashier assistance busy packing all my item and put them ALL behind the counter (for what reason??)
4. After paying all the item worth rm4.3k, I asked the assistance cashier wheter he handed over ALL the items to me. He repeatedly “anguk-anguk kepala”
5. Then I left happily as I reliefed from hell (Of course, after scolding few queue jumpers. Well… I have to be fair to others and me as well. We waited for ages and suddendly in the middle of no where, our front queue become longer!)
6.I didnt check the receipt given to me as I never thought that I will given half teh receipt only.
7. I braced myself to join other motorist to go home at 5pm
8. After arriving home, I checked all the item one by one.The suddenly I felt like being struck by lightning. I found that many many items missing.
9. I try to contact the company but unfortunately, there is no Telephone number on the receipt.
10. Since I knew few of this company promoters, I managed to get their superviser number. I called many times but no answer. I left ONE SMS on his number but again fell on deaf ears +blind eyes. Yes Mr Pierre, r u ever exist? Or maybe your handphone run out of credit.
11. Not satisfied, I manage to get another promoter in charge of the warehouse sale and she handed her handphone to her supervisor (not sure whether he was the one that i try to get) The guy told me to call in 5 mins as he wanted to checked first.
12.After 10mins or so,I called him and his answer was.. no item found at payment counter and give me a very nice comment. “YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE. You cannot do anything even you go somewhere ( police report or something?)” , he said confidently
13.Yeah fuck off…!
14. I felt disgusted with that answer as I honestly asked the assistant cashier before I left. My mistake is I dont use my right eye to monitor the price on cashier machine and the other to monitor how many bag my items were packed (no offence to “mata juling” guys)
15. I cant slept well last nite as I lost so much money in hours. (well.. negligible to 5 figures income earners or Prestige company, of course)
16. To Prestige guy, if you think this is a fake message in trying to bring down your company, feel free to verify this.My receipt number is P4CS-100203. You can check this receipt. I lost Items worth rm933. I only given 1st (page) of the receipt only. The cashier name is LOGES and his assitance is a slim tall chinese guy with white shirt and spectacles. (you know who you are, if you read this) You can contact me using my email t3comm@gmail.com. Left your contact number, and will call you within seconds.
17. To prestige, as you always believe customer always wrong, for once, please check your staff integrity as well.
18. To other warehouse sale addicts, please please please be eXXXXXXXXXXXtra careful with those monsters.
Moral of the story:
1.Check your items first and price later. As this can be checked later
2. Insist on receipt
To law practicioners / lawmakers / consumer bodies out there,
1. Is there any alternative for me to resolve this kind of problem?
Disgusted,
Azam

Thank God! Last saturday, the PIC called me and informed me that they found my things under their counter! (after 2 days, of course)
So i had made an arrangement to collect those items at their office at PJ11. Ironically, still 2 items missing from the package…
what to do… ? at least my lost had been reduced from rm936 to rm178…
Thank to both of you (JImmy+PASIM) for being concern citizen.it reduced my stress tremendously… :D
