End Extreme Horse Fighting Cruelty in Phillipines

Network for Animals Phillipines wants to build clinics to treat injured horses and to educate local people about caring for animals. It is also encouraging tourists to avoid the southern Philippines. WSPA and SPCA Selangor would also like to seek your help to join this campaign against this horribly barbaric horse fighting.

You can register your protest to this horrific cruelty too. Please write to the embassy of the Philippines in our country, explaining that:
* You believe horse fighting and the inhumane slaughter of horses is cruel and therefore unacceptable.
* You are disappointed that the Philippines’ animal welfare legalisation is not being upheld, allowing these illegal fights to continue.
* You will not consider visiting the island of Mindanao or encouraging others to do so until the laws preventing horse fighting are fully enforced.
* You would like to know what the government of the Philippines intends to do to address this issue.

It is up to every Government in the world to stop this cruel sport, make the Philiipine government know we are not going to stand by and watch these poor horses suffer, this is so sad put them all in prison no one in the world should be cruel to any animal why are their people out there so cruel, please please do your best to stop this it just makes you feel so sick what is the matter with society today

This is a disgusting, gruesome ’sport’. I am an avid 12 year old horse lover and it brings tears to my eyes to even see these pictures. I cannot believe these STUPID people are allowed to do this. If no matters are taken, i will certaintly take things inr=to my own hands. Whoever supports these things, you suck, i hate you and if i ever meet any one who does, i will attempt to harm you (joke, but i will get very, very, very cross and WILL make a big deal out of it. Horses are too magical, majestic and mystic to have their lives wasted in such a horrid way. How can anyone call this a sport? It’s heartbreaking to see that there isn’t a even a twinkle of disgust in the eyes of those who watch these beauties being forced to enter lives of pain and misery. From now on, I will pray for every single horse in the Philippines. I don’t understand how they can’t see beauty, power, love, sweetness,willingness, and knowledge. This protest comes straight from the heart of a horse-kind’s best friend.

You shouldn’t make horses fight that’s just horse abuse and it’s wrong to do that what do you do to the that dies? i bet you eat them because they don’t mean much to you if you just look in their eyes they will mean much they will give you love if you were a horse would you want to go out to a paddock and kill or be killed NO you won’t so stop the madness.
